Smart Scheduling automatically manages your task deadlines so you can focus on what matters. How It Works Every day, Korq reviews your Important tasks and applies three actions: Action | What It Does Escalate | Makes an important task "Urgent" (moves to "Do Now") Push | Moves overdue deadline forward by X days Rollover | Reschedules task to a selected future day of the week (e.g. dump day) or pushes task by X days Priority Order Escalate first - Fill urgent slots (default: 5 max) Push overflow - If slots are full, push task forward Rollover separately - Tasks with #auto-rollover tag use rollover instead of push Control Tags Use these system tags to customize behavior for individual tasks: Tag Emoji Effect #auto-rollover π Use rollover instead of push #no-schedule π« Exclude from ALL smart scheduling #fixed-deadline π Allow escalation, block push/rollover #no-escalate βΈοΈ Allow push, block escalation Tag Combinations Tags Escalate Push Rollover (none) β β β #no-schedule β β β #fixed-deadline β β β #no-escalate β β β #fixed-deadline + #no-escalate β β β Use Cases #auto-rollover - Flexible recurring work "Review inbox" - If I miss it, just push to tomorrow. Can become urgent, but don't move the date! #no-escalate - Backlog items "Learn Spanish" - Important but not urgent. Push if needed, but don't fill my urgent slots. Settings Configure in Settings β Smart Scheduling: Auto-promote: Enable/disable escalation Daily "Do Now" limit: Max tasks in important/urgent quadrant (default: 5) Auto-push: Enable/disable pushing Push days: How many days to push forward (1-7) Auto-rollover: Enable/disable rollover Rollover mode: By X days or to specific weekday Max overdue threshold: Skip rollover if task is too old (default: 14 days)
